A little about me... and this site!

After a VERY short period of time exploring web design and development, it became apparent that Photoshop and I didn't get along. That was the blow that turned my attention from designing layouts to something a little more... analytical. It was at this point that I wanted to learn to make a website function. As much as I wanted to make my websites look pretty, I discovered that I have a strong passion for taking an idea and bring it to life on the web.

Once I came to the conclusion that working with graphics wasn't my strong point, I still realized that HTML and CSS were necessary. From there I branched off to the world of PHP, followed closely by MySQL, then Javascript.

I spent a few years working as an entry-level php developer and I found it VERY BORING. I was performing the same task over and over again with slight variations. After being laid off due to this AMAZING economy I realized I really don't enjoy web development as a job. I only enjoy it as a hobby. Therefore... I'll be spending my development time making random, but useful web software for you to enjoy free of charge!
